I’ve been spending some time recently working on new music, but also remixing some OLD music. Yes, I've dug deep to bring out some new... old? music. Why? Mostly because the ideas were and are still great , but geeze... my mixes back in my 20s and even early 30s were a bit rough. They weren't rough for lack of trying, but moreso for lack of understanding, lack of confidence, and lack of identity. Let me try to explain more. Bruh looks tired from trying to mix! Lack of Unders

W ho doesn't love ye olden tymes? I sure do. From the use of music modes, of which I employ the use of dorian and mixolydian modes, to the instrumentation, to the production, it is always a challenge, and a blast. This music was written for a pitched project which requested authentic sounding medieval music, but perhaps not truly authentic in a musical sense. Afterall... we DO need to enjoy and want to hear this music. What can be challenging when trying to produce period-

When I hit a low point, whether that be seasonal, post-product-release dopamine let down, lack of sleep, or <insert any other reason here>, creativity feels more like a chore than a privellege or opportunity. If you’ve been there, you know how frustrating it is to want to create but feel stuck... You feel that ember to start a fire within you, but the damp blanket just keeps on smothering that drive and passion down. I want to share what helped me find my way back to music
